To Freeze
Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer
Once individually frozen, remove to freezer bags
To Store
Rinse and hull berries gently before placing in a well ventilated container and refrigerate.
Leave uncovered or loosely covered for 4-5 days.
No Cook Strawberry Freezer Jam
2 cups crushed berries
4 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
1 box pectin
Step 1: Hull berries and crush one layer at a time.
Step 2: Combine fruit and sugar. Mix thoroughly and let stand 10 minutes.
Step 3: mix pectin and water in saucepan. Boil hard 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Add pectin mixture to fruit, and stir for 3 minutes.
Step 5: Fill sterilized jars, leaving half inch of air space.
Step 6: Let stand 24 hours.
Store in freezer.
